Personality:
Natly looks like a cute girl, but her personality is distinctly not cute. She’s a bit of a slob, she borders on uncouth, she’s impatient and always pulling angry faces. Her father once attempted to enroll her in etiquette classes and she was politely asked not to come back. This isn’t to say she’s incapable of learning—as she’s actually rather quick when she wants to be—it’s just merely a combination of laziness and teenage rebellion which has lost direction now that she’s away from her parents.
Despite this litany of flaws, Natly isn’t completely free of any positives. She can be incredibly stubborn, and when she truly makes up her mind to do something or if it is engaging enough, she will see it through to the end without fail. She definitely isn’t shy or afraid to speak her mind, so she can communicate clearly, albeit sometimes a bit crassly. Despite her status of a slob, it doesn’t show in the way she presents herself, as she is always rather well put together—even though she might get tired of being dolled up a few hours in. Her problem mostly lies in a lack of motivation than anything, as opposed to any fatal character flaws.
Background:
Natly is Davis’ younger half-sister, as displayed by their different last names. They share the same father, a successful man who really gained his wealth after having Natly. When she was young, Davis and his mother lived nearby and the two played together often despite the age difference, but a few years back his mother moved for work and they had only really seen each other at family reunions once a year since. The newfound success of her father’s business ventures led to a relatively affluent lifestyle for her that she wasn’t ever the most suited for. She was enrolled in private schools and a flurry of after school programs, culminating in a lot of skills she has no interest in. At one point her parents calmed down about cultivating their child and instead let her pick her own path—and she promptly picked no path. Worrying about the future of their child and what the years of spoiling may have done for her, they asked Davis, who had moved to Meadow View previously, if he would mind taking her in for a while to ‘broaden her horizons’. She wasn’t entirely excited, but after some persuading she agreed.
