Here at Meadowview, our number one goal is for our wonderful members to have a fun and friendly experience. To ensure this we have set up a few basic rules and guidelines.
If anyone is caught breaking any of these rules, they will receive a warning. If their behavior continues, we will temporarily ban you for two weeks. If even after this ban, the member continues to misbehave, they will face a permanent expulsion from Meadowview.

General Rules & Guidelines Regarding the general behavior of the members of this fine forum.
Treat other members respectfully. No discrimination, rude dudes, or generally being impolite to anyone. Trolling, flaming, or any sort of harassment is not acceptable.
This is a PG-13 board So please treat it as such. Keep your swearing to a minimum and your pornography on your hard-drive.
There is a board for everything. The roleplay boards are for roleplaying, the out of character boards are for out of character topics. Please keep these things separate. THE CHATBOX IS FOR OUT OF CHARACTER TALK ONLY.
Do not backseat moderate. We appreciate your concern, but if you are having issues, please bring them up with The Mayor and our staff will help take care of the issue.
Keep advertising to the advertisement board. we respect that you may have your own things you would like to promote, but everything has a time and place.
Icons and signatures. We would really appreciate it if you kept your icon as a depiction of your character, whether it was made from an icon generator, is your original art, commissioned art, or otherwise. Since we would like your display name to be your character name, it only makes sense that the icon adheres to that. Signatures however are free range within reason.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to post on ourhelp board. We are more than happy to help.

You are allowed two characters. When you create the second character’s account, please PM The Mayor informing us of the other account so we able to keep track.
Please keep your display name as your character name. Whether it is John, John S., or John Smith. You may, however, register with whatever username you would like.
Feel free to add to the character application as you see fit. Everything on the template is required, but adding extra information is welcome.
You may format your character application however you would like. As long as everything is legible.
Keep the general atmosphere of this rp in mind. This is set in a small village. An assassin cyborg might not belong here.
Feel free to work outside the gender binary. You are not limited to male and female. Transgender, agender, gender fluid, and all others are acceptable. As are all sexualities.
If you have a character that is fairly young, they need a guardian. Six year olds cannot live alone in Meadowview.
Your character is not perfect. Nobody is perfect, actually! It's okay to be good at things, but keep in mind normal human capability.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to post on ourhelp board. We are more than happy to help.

Roleplay Rules & Guidelines In regards to the actual roleplaying.
Please use the narrative style when roleplaying. As in paragraphs. No script or asterisks indicating action.
Do not roleplay in the Chatbox. It is for Out of Character speak only.
Use proper spelling and grammar. Obviously no one is going to be kicked from using the wrong homonym of there, but at the same time, errors tend to be distracting when reading and most browsers have built-in spell check now, so please try your best. No chatspeak or anything.
No god modding. Don’t take control of other people’s characters.
No one-liners. There are always exceptions to the rule, but generally one-liners don’t provide enough for your rp partner to respond to.
All posts should be legible.
Please keep roleplaying on the roleplaying boards. Just as a reiteration.
Add labels to new posts. When you create a post, there should be an option to label it. If your rp is open to anyone who would like to join, label it as open. If your rp is reserved for you and another member, label it as reserved. If you would not like anyone else joining a rp that was previously open, you may mark it as full. And once a rp is completely finished, please mark it as complete. If you are the creator of a thread and your partner(s) stop responding, you may also mark your thread as inactive. Complete rps will be moved to the archive. Inactive rps will be moved to the archive after 14 days.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to post on our help board. We are more than happy to help.
