Name: Walter Chen
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Birthday: Winter 28
Occupation: Police officer
Personality: Walter is uptight, anal, and rather anti-social, she is easily annoyed and irritated and tends to have a bit of a hair-trigger temper. She never seems to get enough sleep or caffeine, nor does she seem to be able to understand other people very well. While she often comes across as apathetic, she's actually a very passionate person. However that passion only really comes out when the words "mystery", "justice", "crime" and "detectives" are being used. Otherwise she doesn't really have that much of an interest in anything and tends to just be bored and rather grumpy. Walter is also rather cynical and has a very odd sense of humor, mostly consisting of trying to speak entirely in quotes from cheesy detective novels or movies.
Appearance: At a lanky 6'1'' with an already boyish frame and features, Walter often gets mistaken for a man, not that she cares much. Her unkempt black hair, cropped close to her head really does not help things. She has an olive skin tone with a smattering of freckles and dark green eyes with rather bushy eyebrows. Since she's rather nearsighted, she always wears a pair of glasses with red, rectangular frames. When on the clock, she will wear her uniform which consists of a navy blue cap with black brim, a button-up blue shirt with a badge and black slacks and boots. However, she is almost unrecognizable when not working, as she then will wear over-sized sweatshirts and pants and t-shirts (if she even leaves her house at all).
Background: Walter grew up in the city as the youngest and only daughter in a large family with many older brothers. Since she could read, she adored detective stories. As her brothers also were fans of the genre, most of them trained to become police officers as they grew up. Walter, not to be outdone, also entered the police academy with the aspirations of becoming a detective for Interpol. After getting her certification as an officer, she was, instead, assigned to work out in the country under a small station. When she later complained and asked to be reassigned, she was. To Meadow View by herself. Because the town is so small and quiet, all she really does is fill out paperwork, run a lost and found, and do patrols looking for anything suspicious. She is incredibly bored with the entire situation and just tries to do her job in a way that interests her.
