Name: Atticus Layne Abernathy
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Birthday: Winter 28
Occupation: Unemployed
Likes: Shiny things, jewels/ores, knick knacky items, stars, rap/hip hop
Dislikes: Being separated from his brother for too long, Cops (tha fuzz!)
Personality: Atticus has a big problem. That problem has repeatedly gotten him into trouble and has seemed to engrain itself into a large part of his personality. Atticus is a kleptomaniac, he really can't help himself. When he sees something he wants his eyes widen and get a slight glint in them, then his fingers start to twitch, his heart races and finally he can't seem to think of anything else but that sweet sweet treasure. All of this obsessive behavior won't go away until he has the trinket in his possession the thing is by the time he's got that treasure he's likely to have hurt a few innocent people or destroy some relationships that stood in the way. As a result Atticus has few friends and tends to pity himself because of it.
Other than being thoughtlessly selfish Atticus is also gestural, good natured and easy to talk to, often overly friendly, he lets his hands wander till they end up resting on the shoulder or arm of whoever he's talking with regardless of wether they're a stranger or not. He is surprisingly trusting, lies when he needs to and makes up tons of lame jokes that people laugh at to not hurt his feelings, not that it matters, he always seems to be in a pleasant mood. Even though Atticus cons and lies constantly he always feels terrible for what he does, someday he hopes to break this habit so that he can live a happier life.
Appearance: Being 5'9 and still growing it's hard not to notice when he enters a room, he's got long limbs and a toned body from years of gymnastics which also taught him to have perfect posture. His skin is fair and tends to dry out during the colder months and tans easily in the warmer months. He has bleached blonde hair thats pushed back out of his face. Well kept mousy brown eyebrows sit above slightly angled dark green eyes, giving him a bit of a spaced out or even angry gaze. He has a rather feminine diamond shaped face, his cheek bones being the widest part of it with his chin rounding out at the bottom. Two small beauty marks sit diagonally below is right eye while an additional mark rests right above the same eyebrow. Atticus has a thin sloping nose with a slight upwards point, and thin lips with the lower lip being a tad fuller than the upper. The kid is usually seen wearing a button up or some sort of band shirt, usually from one of the many obscure hip hop groups he follows, paired with one of the two jeans he packed and either his black dress shoes or his sneakers. Oh, he's also never seen without his back pack.
Background: He's as honest as he needs to be, so if you ask Atticus about his past he'll tell you about his hardworking mother and Jeremy his identical twin brother and how they all lived together in a looming apartment complex in a very seedy city. He'll tell you about the time he and his brother went on a camping trip to the country and how he got his first glimpse of the stars. About how his mother forced the two into years of gymnastics and how after practice they would spend hours wandering the city streets secretly stealing candies from gas stations. All the while his eyes will sparkle with love for the big city, leaving you to wonder why he left it in the first place.
"So, why are you in Meadow View if you love the city so much?" You'll ask. He'll give you an outrageous answer while wearing a wide smile on his face, but finally, after asking multiple times you'll say, 'No, really, why are you out here in the country?" In a serious voice he'll reply, "I stole something very important and now the cops after me." You'll laugh and a few seconds later he'll laugh, then you'll feel a little creeped out because 'he did say that kind of sincerely didn't he?'
Extras:
-Occasionally refers to himself in plural (we, us etc.) due to constantly being with/associated with his brother, corrects himself after the mistake.
