My Current Goals:
Start backyard garden for kitchen produce
Visit Davis Powell for gardening tips
Return Benny's gardening books
Investigate options for fixing up/expanding farmhouse
2500G, possibly concrete from Benny
Improve grazing area
Pay Roscoe for pasture fence
(have cookies on hand for apprentice just in case)
Summer: Buy new cow/calf
Accomplishments & Awards:
Go Getter Award: Received for arriving before Spring Year 1? I don't really get it. Silver Tomato Award: Received for "reaching tomato rank." I think they mean I'm a productive member of the community-- why don't they just say that?

Fall, Year 0: (9)Bought run-down ranch, needs lots of work. Moved to Meadow View; nice not to have to deal with people. Social obligations too exhausting, feel hollow. Must work hard to improve ranch and find a purpose. (14) Had barn rebuilt, painted cheery color. Much nicer now.
Winter, Year 0: (1) Can't make much progress in winter. Everything frozen. (7) First birthday in new place. Celebrated alone. Was slightly lonely, but not that bad. Bought full-grown cow and two lambs as practical birthday present; cow (named it Milkshake) producing milk so have some income. Sheep hopefully grown and ready to shear by late Spring, Summer. (20) Making plans for improvements once better weather comes.

Address Book:
The Mayor: Showed me around when I first arrived. Good source of information about town.
Roscoe Carpenter: Local carpenter, does good work. Very enthusiastic about his job. I respect his work ethic and professionalism.
Benny Harper: Owns the grocery. Surprisingly helpful. Interested in buying milk products, but must install fridge area first. (Note: Remember to return his gardening books.)
Alsetessa Pine: Not sure if actually breeds animals or just has chronic Snow White syndrome. Bought Milkshake and both lambs from this winter. Animals in good health, friendly. Nice that she checks in on them regularly but is occasionally overbearing. Tips good, but worth regular invasion? Not a bad person. Why is her hair green?
Natly Powell: Not actually sure what her name was. Roscoe's unwilling apprentice. Roscoe's a good worker but can't help but feel sympathy. Obviously doesn't want to work there. A bit sassy.
Rosalie Travers: A bit talkative. Likes discussing others' business too much, I think. On the other hand, very knowledgeable about the town so that's useful. Friendly about it too. Also makes a good vodka lemonade. Will just try to avoid when not feeling up to talking.
Sunny Smith: Also from the city and new here. Friendly but not nosy. Client.
Davis Powell: Friendly farmer down the road. Very... enthusiastic. Helpful though. I might visit more often— for gardening tips.
Fisherman Augie: Woke me up at 7am to rant about my pond, then threw Colin into it. Not a pleasant encounter.
